A ceremony is a rite of passage, a bridge form one part of life to the next, where we travel to another significant phase of our lives. Thereís a change of role and responsibilities and new possibilities, often uncharted waters, lay before us.

To me in this modern and constantly changing world, a good ceremony will allow us to integrate the past and possible future by standing truthfully and squarely in the present moment. Honouring what has gone on before us, letting go of what is no longer useful, and claiming the qualities we need to navigate us emotionally and spiritually preparing for the journey ahead.
